Eleven firefighters on two appliances from St Dennis and St Colum attended a call to a fire in the porch of a domestic dwelling. The occupant was asked to evacuate the property. Crews tackled the fire using two breathing apparatus, one hose reel and a carbon dioxide fire extinguisher. Western power engineers were requested to attend the scene to make the property safe.
