A 999 call was received from a concerned resident of Dinas road reporting an electrical cable was sparking and was down. One appliance with six firefighters from St Colum were mobilized to investigate. Crews confirmed that an overhead electricity supply on a pylon close to a property was sparking, it was confirmed that there was no fire. Crews remained on scene until the arrival of electricity engineers to make the cable safe.
