Two appliances from St. Austell attended this incident, trains on the main line had to be suspended before crews could attack the fire, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hosereels to extinguish the fire, which was in a hut approximately 4 x 2 metres. Arson was suspected. Further details may be obtained from Devon & Cornwall Police.
