After receiving a request from West Country Ambulance, one appliance and the Land Rover from Bodmin were mobilised to assist in the recovery of a casualty who was approximately 15 feet down in a river bed. Firefighters used lengths of extension ladders and lines to safely effect the casualty's removal, who was then taken into the care of West Country Ambulance, from whom you can obtain further details.
