Three retained crews from Truro Fire Station attended a caravan fire last early this morning. At first it was thought that person(s) were trapped inside but upon arrival they discovered everybody had been accounted for. The shed and adjoining caravan were well alight and firefighters tackled the blaze using hosereels and breathing apparatus. It took less than an hour to extinguish even though the crews were battling against high winds. The cause of the fire is suspicious and the police are investigating.
