Plain-an-Gwarry, Redruth at 14/03/2016 21:14
The occupiers of a house in Plain-an-Gwarry, Redruth, rang to report that they had taken their electric fire outside of their property due to it setting on fire and that it was still ablaze but now in the garden of the house.
A crew of 5 firefighters in a pumping appliance from Tolvaddon Community Fire Station attended the scene and used a hose reel jet to extinguish the blaze.
The occupants were left in the care of the Ambulance Service.
