Ten firefighters on an appliance from Lostwithiel and specialist Rope Rescue appliance from Bodmin attended a call to a male who had been injured on the fourth lift of scaffolding around a house and was unable to get down. Firefighters allowed the casualty to be assessed by Ambulance paramedics before attempting the rescue from the scaffolding. Whilst the casualty was assessed the line rescue team from Bodmin prepared their equipment for the rescue. Bodmin Line rescue team and Ambulance paramedics prepared the casualty for movement on a dragon stretcher. Ropes and lines were used to create an anchor around the chimney stack; the casualty was then lowered from the scaffolding to the ground.
