A30 Eastbound, Temple, Near Bodmin at 06/08/2004 15:35

After receiving a call from West Country Ambulance, one appliance and the rescue tender from Bodmin were mobilised to this incident. On arrival the incident was found to involve two vehicles, with persons trapped also casualties ejected from vehicles. Two further appliances were requested for the incident and also to provide fire cover for air ambulances and sea king helicopters which transported the casualties to hospital. Brigade personnel released the casualties using crash rescue equipment, the main A30 will be closed for a considerable time. Further details may be obtained from Devon & Cornwall Police.
