Five firefighters on one appliance were mobilized to a chimney fire. The chimney fire was complex, crews initially used a hose reel jet and hearth kit on the fire. At 14:27 crews requested a second appliance attend due to the loft of the premise being heavily smoke logged, a second appliance with five crew was mobilized from Launceston. Crews used safety at height and line rescue equipment, two hose reels , and a triple extension ladder along side chimney rods and a thermal imaging camera. At 15:33 crews remained on scene damping down hot spots.
