Two appliances from Falmouth, along with one Wholetime Officer attended the scene of a reported car fire within a garage repair block this evening. On arrival the first appliance discovered a car that was well alight inside the building. A total of four breathing apparatus, two hosereels, a covering jet and a thermal imaging camera were used to extinguish the fire and check adjacent buildings for any fire spread. The cause is believed to be accidental.
