At 11:07 this morning a call was received to a stable block 20 x 10 meters containing tools which was on fire. The property was well alight on crews arrival and assistance was requested that a third fire appliance attend. A fire appliance from St Austell with five crew was mobilized to the scene. Crews confirmed the barn contained farm machinery and a gas cylinder, firefighters used two ground monitors supplied using a light portable pump. At 12:30 crews were using two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and a light portable pump set into open water. This incident is currently on going and details will be updated as and when they become available.
