Two appliances from Bude with the assistance of one appliance from Holsworthy and a Wholetime Flexi Duty Officer attended the scene of a reported property fire in the Shorelark Way area of Bude. First appliance in attendance reported smoke issuing from the property and it was unknown if there were persons still inside. Four breathing apparatus and two hosereels were used to extinguish the fire on the ground floor of the property and an extensive search was carried out, resulting in confirmation that there were no persons inside. The property was ventilated and the cause was accidental.
