On receipt of this call, appliances from Padstow and Wadebridge were mobilised, on arrival the crew found a community hall measuring twenty metres by fifteen metres heavily smokelogged, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the building and proceeded to the first floor and used a high pressure hosereel to extinguish a fire, the building was then ventilated using the positive pressure fan. The cause was accidental.
