Appliances from Falmouth were mobilised on receipt of this call. At first there were persons reported at the incident, upon arrival all persons were accounted for. The fire was in the ground floor of a block of flats which was extinguished by firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and a hosereel. The Positive Pressure Ventilation fan was also used at the incident to clear the area, which was heavily smokelogged. Ambulance personnel were in attendance and checked over a casualty at the scene.
