3 appliances from St Ives were mobilised following a report of a kitchen fire. On arrival crews found that the fire involving a grill pan was already out. An inspection was made to ensure that all was safe.

General Fire Safety Advice:
If you're called away from the cooker - by the phone, say, or by someone at the door - take pans off the heat and turn off the grill. It's the easiest thing in the world to forget about them.
Always clean the grill pan after using it.
