Flooding of 2 Subways
Morlaix Avenue, Truro at 12/08/2004 17:02
One appliance from Truro were requested to attend 2 subways under Morlaix Avenue that were flooded to a depth of about 2 feet. Pedestrians were crossing the dual carriageway and climbing over the barrier in the central reservation. At the request of the police the crew pumped the water from the subways to allow pedestrians safe passage under the road.
