Appliances from Penzance and St. Just were mobilised to this incident. On arrival crews wore breathing apparatus and used a Thermal Image Camera at the scene and then proceeded to cut away part of the silo to get to the seat of the fire. Crews were delayed for a time, the last crew returning at approximately 1330 hours.
