The service received a call to a property in the Launceston area to a bin shelter attached to the house on fire. Two appliances from Launceston were mobilised along with a Wholetime Officer. On arrival the crews used 2 hosereels and 2 breathing apparatus to extinguish a fire in a bin shelter 3 m x 1 m. Crews damped down the area prior to leaving the scene.
