The two crews from St Marys Fire Station were mobilised to this incident after Fire Control received a call from a passer by stating he could see smoke coming from a rear window and the fire alarm was sounding. On arrival the crews made forced entry into the property and wearing two sets of breathing apparatus and using one hosereel they extinguished the fire. The fire was caused by a pan that had been left on the cooker.
