On receipt of a call from the ambulance service, stating a person on a mobility scooter had fallen into the river, appliances from Tolvaddon and specialist water rescue resources from Falmouth and Penzance were mobilised, on arrival at the scene it was found that members of the public had rescued the casualty, Cornwall Fire & Rescue personnel proceeded to give general assistance. Ambulance and Police resources were also in attendance.
