House Fire

Church Street, Liskeard at 11/05/2016 21:19

Two appliances from Liskeard and one appliance from Looe attended a report of a domestic dwelling on fire. Reports from passers by stated that the fire involved both the ground floor and the upper floor. On arrival crews found there was smoke issuing. The domestic property measured approximately three metres by four metres and the fire involved the upstairs and downstairs living quarters. Firefighters wearing two breathing apparatus used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire. The gas and electrical supply were isolated in the building and crews checked for hot spots, the fire was confirmed out at 2157hrs and there are no further details available regarding this incident.
