A total of four major appliances, two land rovers and a water carrier attended this incident. Crews fought approximately 4 hectares of high gorse which also involved fir trees, the fire was extinguished using jets and beaters. Crews were delayed for a time, the last appliance returning at approximately 1800 hours.
