Seven firefighters from Torpoint and six firefighters from Saltash were mobilised to a tractor on fire. The tractor was well alight and spread to a baler on crews arrival, a Water carrier from Liskeard was requested to attend due to poor water supplies in the area. Crews initially used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel on the fire, also using foam from a foam branch to smother the fire. Crews made good progress and laid down a foam blanket around the machinery to prevent the fire from spreading further. The fire was confirmed out at 15:50 hrs.
