At 0918hrs today our co-responders from St Keverne Community Fire Station, who assist the ambulance service in rural areas, attended an address where a mother was in the advanced stages of labour. The crew successfully assisted with the birth of a baby girl. They remained on scene until an ambulance and a midwife arrived.
