Eleven firefighters on two appliances from St Columb and Newquay along with a Rescue Tender from Bodmin attended a call to a road traffic collision with persons reported as being trapped inside vehicles. On crews arrival they confirmed that five vehicles had been involved in the collision and that one person was trapped. Firefighters administered casualty care on scene and made vehicles safe. Firefighters assisted Ambulance with the manual removal of one casualty. There are no more details available on this incident.
