Seven firefighers from Torpoint, five from Saltash and five on a Rescue Tender from Bodmin attended a call to a two vehicle road traffic collision on the B3247 heading towards Millbrook. There were two persons trapped in the two car road traffic collision. Firefighters used crash rescue equipment to remove the roof of one vehicle. A third person had self rescued from the second vehicle which was on its roof. Once the roof had been cut from the car Ambulance Paramedics attended and assessed the two casualties in the vehicle. Once assessments had been completed firefighters assisted with the extrication of the two trapped casualties. The casualties were taken to hospital via land Ambulance.
