Two appliances from Toproint, one from Saltash and the Rescue Tender from Bodmin Fire Stations were mobilised to this incident. It involved two vehicles in a road traffic collison with one person trapped inside one of the vehicles. The crews used specialist cutting equipment to remove the roof from the car to extricate the casualty. The ambulance service were on scene and took over the care of the patient. Police asked that the road be closed and Highways were requested.
