Appliances from Tolvaddon and Hayle along with a Supervisory Officer were mobilised to reports of a fire at a property in Dolcoath Road. On arrival crews found that there was a fire in the kitchen of a two storey dwelling. Breathing apparatus, a hosereel jet, a CO2 extinguisher, a safety jet and a thermal imaging camera were used to tackle the fire. The Ambulance Service were requested to treat a casualty who had suffered smoke inhalation. Crews checked for hot spots and used a positive pressure ventilation fan to ventilate the property.
