On receipt of this call appliances from Mullion and Tolvaddon were mobilised, also appliances from Helston and Falmouth who were available from another incident were mobilised to attend. On arrival there was found to be a fire on the first floor in the bathroom of a two storey property, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a high pressure hosereel jet to extinguish the fire, the thermal image camera was used to check over the property, crews then proceeded to check the roof space to ensure that there was no fire spread.
An ambulance was requested and attended to treat a casualty suffering the effects of smoke inhalation.
