One appliance from Helston, one from Tolvaddon and a Supervisory Officer were mobilised to a report of a water heater which had caught fire in an immersion cupboard. On arrival crews requested assistance and another appliance was mobilised from Mullion. Crews found a fire on the first floor of a semi detached dormer bungalow and used two breathing apparatus sets, two hosereel jets, one covering jet and one safety jet to extinguish the fire. It was believed that the fire may have spread into the roof and another two breathing apparatus sets were used along with two thermal imaging cameras to monitor for hot spots.
