Both appliances from St. Ives were mobilised on receipt of this call. On arrival at the scene crews found that a large amount of rubbish was on fire and it had spread to a barn, part of the barn door and roof was involved in the blaze, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hosereels to extinguish the fire. Arson was suspected. Any further details may be obtained from Devon & Cornwall Police.
