At 11:10 this morning a 999 call was received to some staff accommodation involved in a fire. One appliance with six firefighters from Padstow attended a call to a property where there was a fire in an upstairs bedroom. Firefighters tackled the fire using two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, a covering and a safety jet. Once the fire had been extinguished crews damped down hot spots and used a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear smoke from the building.
