A38, between Trerulefoot and Liskeard, near Menheniot at 11/08/2016 14:00

One fire appliance from Liskeard, one fire appliance from Saltash and the rescue tender from Bodmin are in attendance at a road traffic collision. Two people are trapped in a vehicle and firefighters are using crash rescue equipment to release them. Ambulance, including an air ambulance, and Police are also in attendance.

Update at 1455hrs: One casualty has been cut free. A second casualty is expected to be released shortly.

Update at 1505hrs: The second casualty has been released and both casualties left in care of Ambulance. Firefighters are making the scene safe and will be leaving shortly.
