On receipt of this call stating that a light aircraft had crashed, appliances were mobilised from Perranporth, Newquay and Truro also the rescue tender from Tolvaddon. The aircraft, a Piper Warrior, had landed safely and it was confirmed that everyone was out of the aircraft, on arrival the plane was well alight, firefighters used foam at the incident to extinguish the fire. Ambulance were in attendance.
