Two appliances from Mevagissey and one from St Austell attended a call to a property with black smoke coming from a top floor window. The fire involved a first floor maisonette in a block of 8 properties measuring 25 x 8 metres. Crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel and one safety jet being supplied from a hydrant. At 21:08 the fire was confirmed as out, breathing apparatus had been withdrawn and crews were using small tools to cut away, ensuring that the fire had not spread. Electrical engineers were requested to attend the property. There are no more details available on this incident.
