On receipt of this call, appliances from Helston and Mullion were mobilised, on arrival at the scene, crews found a fire involving the cooker in the kitchen of a two storey domestic dwelling, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one high pressure hosereel jet to extinguish the fire, the premises were then allowed to ventilate naturally. The ambulance service were requested and treated two casualties for the effects of smoke inhalation.
