On receipt of this call from Devon & Cornwall Police, one appliance and the rescue tender from Bodmin were mobilised, on arrival at the incident, the wholetime officer in attendance requested a further appliance, which attended from Wadebridge. Three vehicles were in collision, four persons were involved with two being trapped, crews used crash rescue equipment at the scene to release the casualties. SWAST Ambulance and Devon & Cornwall Police were in attendance. The A38 is closed between Twelvewoods and Turfdown while investigations are ongoing.
