On the initial call for this incident, resources from Wadebridge, Bodmin, St. Austell, Padstow and Tolvaddon were mobilised, on arrival the crews found a cow which was stranded in the river, the crew managed to harness the cow and crew used a hydraulic lifting arm to raise and successfully recover the cow and passed over to the owner, who was in attendance.
