Numerous calls were received for this incident, with some stating that there was a person believed within the vehicle, two appliances from St. Austell were mobilised, on attendance the vehicle was found to be well alight, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two high pressure hosereel jets to extinguish the fire, it was quickly established that there was no one within the vehicle, one person was treated on scene by attending ambulance personnel for burns. Devon & Cornwall Police were also in attendance.
