On receipt of this call stating a smell of burning, both appliances from Bodmin were mobilised. On arrival the crew confirmed a smell of smoke and proceeded to investigate the premises, the crew inspected the roof space and found a small fire which was quickly extinguished, a triple extension ladder was in use and also small tools to cut away and inspected the area.
The alarm was raised due to a working smoke alarm system which activated and raised the alarm.
