Firefighters from Newquay and St Columb Community Fire Stations attended a property at the request of the Police, to investigate a strong smell of smoke. Firefighters confirmed that there had been a fire and inspected to ensure it was out. The cause of the fire is arson and the incident was handed over to Devon & Cornwall Police.
