At 2055 we were called to a hedge fire at Perranzabuloe which on arrival was found to be gorse, an appliance from Perranporth was first on scene - sending back a message that this was a large area of gorse and using 2 hosereels, next message stated that this was about 4 hectares and requested the water carrier - Fire control mobilised this and also a further pump - 2 main jets were now in use from the water carrier.
