Caravan Fire

Five firefighters on one appliance from Truro attended a call to a caravan on fire along the old railway between Truro and Calenick. The caravan was 600 metres from the closest access point, on arrival of crews the caravan had been totally destroyed. The caravan had measured 4 x 3 metres. Firefighters used a dry powder fire extinguisher on the remaining seats of fire and cordoned off the caravan. Firefighters remained in attendance until the scene was safe to leave.
