Crews from Delabole were alerted to a fire alarm sounding in the Mount Camel area by a concerned neighbour, on arrival firefighters could see smoke from a ground floor flat, crews used breathing apparatus and hosereels to rescue an adult male from the lounge area, crews administered first aid and extinguished a small fire in the kitchen. A positive pressure fan was used to clear the smoke from the flat.
