Firefighters from Callington and Liskeard were mobilised following 999 calls stating a garage was on fire in Callington. On arrival crews found a garage measuring 8 meters by 4 meters well alight and requested assistance for a further appliance. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire; we remain on scene at this time damping down. The cause of the fire is accidental and confined to the garage. South Western Ambulance Service were also on scene treating one casualty for burns. This is all the information we have on this incident.
