Fire Control received a call from the on-call Building Control Officer for the Council requesting assistance. He needed extra ladders to get to the gable end of a three storey building, where some loose render was in danger of falling into the street and causing a hazard. Newquay Fire Station were mobilised with the pumping appliance and the aerial ladder platform, which was utilised to remove the loose render and make the building safe.
Police were also in attendance.
