Cooker Fire Averted

An emergency call was received from a concerned neighbour who reported hearing a smoke alarm sounding and a smell of smoke coming from a property in Bosworgey Close, St Columb.
Crews from St Columb, St Dennis and Newquay were mobilised to the incident. The first appliance in attendance gained access to the property and discovered a cooker had been left turned on. The property was thoroughly checked by crews before being handed over to the occupier.
