One crew from Newquay Community Fire Station and specialist animal rescue crews from Tolvaddon community Fire Station were mobilised to a horse that had got stuck on its back in a shallow river. A vet was called by the owner to attend, and fire crews used specialist animal rescue equipment to get assist the horse from the river. The horse was then left in the care of a vet and the owner.
