Firefighters from Falmouth attended reports of a boat on fire near Ponsharden, Penryn. On arrival crews found one catamaran boat measuring 10 meters by six meters on fire. A hosereel, and covering jet were used to extinguish the fire, crews then cut away and remained on scene damping down hot spots. The cause is believed to be accidental and confined to the boat.
