On receipt of this call, appliances from Newquay and St. Columb were mobilised also a further appliance from Perranporth, along with a wholetime officer, on arrival it was confirmed as a 'Persons Reported' incident, one casualty was rescued by Fire & Rescue Service personnel and a further six persons were evacuated, the fire involved a two storey property measuring ten by twenty metres, the fire was confined to the kitchen and was extinguished by firefighters wearing breathing apparatus using a high pressure hosereel jet. One person was treated on scene by attending ambulance personnel for the effects of smoke inhalation. There are no further details regarding this incident.
